On Friday I picked Jim up in Jacksonville at about 3:00 and we headed for Springfield to hopefully find a counter top.
We were successful and very happy with our selection. We waited for the hottest day of the summer to go stand on a concrete lot to look at granite slabs. Actually it didn't take us long to make our selection.
The rest of our evening didn't go as well. We spend hours in Lowe's and Menard's looking a flooring, ceiling tiles, windows and doors. I think we have reached a decision on the floor and ceiling but just didn't buy yet.
