When the granite people came on Monday to template the counter, they had another job in Greenfield to go, fortunately for us there was a problem at that house and they needed to come back soon. So yesterday I had four missed calls while mowing the yard from the granite people wanting to know if it would be a problem for them to install our counter tops on Thursday. Yahoo!
They came to our house first, dropped off the counter, then dropped off the other one and came back to install.
The counter top was in four different pieces. They told me the biggest one was around 750 pounds.
There are two guys that do the installation, but the piece was so big that two other guys had to drive down just to help unload it.
They definitely needed the help. That was one heavy slab.
